Dance Away welcomes people of all ages, including children. It is a free-spirited activity, the only restriction being to respect each other's spaces.
Because this concept is not always easy for childen to grasp, we offer the following guidelines to adults with childen (anyone under
the age of 12) at Dance Away:
Please see that children are accompanied by an adult responsible for their behavior (we recommend a maximum of 3 or 4 children for each adullt, depending on their ages).
Please use our bag-checking system for things not needed
in the hall.
Please see that children stay in the dance hall or the
church garden.
Dance Away prefers that people speak to the D.J. one at a time, and be sensitive to the DJ's work space.
Guard against any activity that may be harmful (e.g., climbing the garden walls, running on the dance floor) or disruptive (e.g.,
shouting in the dance hall, jumping off the stage).
We hope following these suggestions will increase everyone's
enjoyment of Dance Away.
